7mm Axle Key for Rear Axle

This is a large axle key (also known as a Woodruff Key) used on heavy duty axles.

It measures 7mm x 7mm x 30mm.

Used on a wide range of mobility scooters to lock rear wheel to drive train

 

Also available in 5 x 5 x 17mm and 5 x 5 x35mm

 

Axle keys are a piece of hardware that is essential to keep the rear wheel revolving on the revolving shaft of the transaxle,

sometimes easily lost or misplaced when removing a rear wheel.

They slot in to the keyway on the axle that is cut  in to the shaft 

they may be called axle keys and sometimes  as woodruff keys
