The Independence Micro Scooter incorporates the latest innovative designs to provide a compact and lightweight means of mobility.

The Independence can be used in confined spaces both indoors and out. The scooter has been designed to be light enough and small enough to fit into the boot of most vehicles in one piece for easy transportation.

The main considerations in the design of the Independence was for it to be compact, lightweight and easily transported with exceptional maneuverability so that it was able to negotiate tight spaces.

Complete with padded seat and a small, easily removed battery pack this scooter is perfect for transporting a person up to 18 stone and to a maximum range of up to 10 miles.

Powered by a fully waterproof 24 volt 270W motor and gearbox. The motor is powered by (2) 12V 12A/H batteries that will glide you effortlessly along at up to 4 mph. It provides enough power to travel up to 10 miles on a full charge (weight and terrain may affect this figure).

Charge & Continue

The Scooter comes equipped with an off-board fully automatic battery charger that allows you to charge the batteries safe in the knowledge that the scooter will never overcharge. Refer to user manual for detailed instructions on how to charge your scooter correctly.

Rugged Build Quality

It is constructed from high quality steel tubing, phosphated and epoxy coated to give longer life in all weather conditions. It is covered by a lightweight moulded outer shroud that give the scooter it’s compact look.

Microprocessor Technology

A fail safe, state of the art ‘brain’ controls all the power operations of the Scooter which combines safety with ease of operation. Your scooter also comes equipped with a self diagnostic warning light that will quickly and easily warn you of any problems

Comfort

The Scooter has a lightweight foam filled 360 degree swivel seat with adjustable armrests which has been ergonomically designed to fit the compact lightweight design of the scooter perfectly.

Total Control

The Independence Micro Scooter is fitted with an easy to use twist control throttle pod to set your speed setting and a finger operated auto release wig wag to engage the drive. Stopping could not be easier just let go of the wig wag and the automatic electro magnetic brakes go to work quickly and efficiently

Tyres and Wheels

The ‘split rim’ wheels are made from shock absorbing nylon composite and are fitted with solid tyres that will give you years of trouble free use, without the risk of ever obtaining a puncture.

Parking

The fully automatic anti-runaway solenoid parking brake will hold the Independence Micro Scooter on any hill, allowing you to carry on your day safe in the knowledge that your scooter will remain exactly where you stop it.

Braking

Back off the throttle slightly to slow down, or let go completely to stop. The automatic regenerative electro magnetic braking system means that the Independence Micro Scooter maintains speed, even on the steepest slopes and will bring you to a complete stop quickly and efficiently when needed.
