Product description

Three Pin Male Plug for Mobility Scooter Battery Charger

This plug fits on the end of the charger lead and plugs into scooter charger socket or battery box socket.

The wires will need to be unsoldered from existing charger lead and soldered on to the new assembly - make sure you connect exactly the same as the old plug or it will not work. It can help taking a photo on your phone before you start so you can check as you go.

Most connections use two wires and a short link wire. Pin 1 is normally Positive , Pin 2 is Negative, Pin 3 is inhibit. Pins 2 and 3 are normally linked with a short link wire on the solder side of the pins. Check when you have finished soldering that there are no loose strands of wire which could short to pin 1 or from pin 1 to pins 2 or 3.

Make sure that you fit the short link wire as this is a safety feature to stop you driving the scooter whilst the battery charger is connected.

Note that these pin connections are different on TGA Reverse Polarity chargers on Breeze models
